For all homebuyers, it is always important to get pre-approved in order to find a mortgage and obtain financing, and get a credit check. The diligence, availability and experience of the lender is extremely important. New lending practices in place since 2015 affect certain contract negotiations and terms, and length of time to close escrow may vary depending on the buyer’s loan.
